Covington Car Show was founded by Lanier Sims. At the first show all he wanted to do was raise a little money to help build a Miracle League baseball field for his community. Now 10 years later and over 150 thousand dollars raised for different non profits in the community. Lanier is a businessman, veteran, former elected official and a car collector, giving back was always his top priority.
